2018 Mardi Gras
October 10 - The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce announces it will not sponser the Mardi Gras Parade due to changing priorities.
November 11 - The Gulf Restaurant comes forward and announces it will sponser the Mardi Gras Parade and celebration.
December 22 - The Gulf Restaurant announces it will not sponser the Mardi Gras Parade due to manpower requirements and esclating costs.
2017 Mardi Gras
The 2017 Mardi Gras Parade was cancelled due to severe weather including heavy rain, strong wind, and lightening. Radar also tracked several rotating storms.
