Architecture Review Committee

This Committee is charged with reviewing any new development and/or modifications to existing property and determining if the proposed activity is in accordance with the Covenants and Restrictions on the Island.   The Committee interfaces with the County Department of Growth Management. 

The Committee meets at 9:00
the first and third Thursday of each month via Zoom teleconference. Please use this link to join the Zoom meeting:



In-person meetings can be scheduled when necessary.


You may also send an email to OilaArc@yahoo.com for a link to the Zoom meeting, to obtain an application, and to provide your plans and drawings for review. Provide your plans and drawings to be examined the same as if you were applying to the County for a building permit.


There are no fees assessed by the Committee.  Upon approval, the Committee will provide you with an approval form to be taken to the County for the permitting process.  The County will not approve a permit without the approval of the Committee.
